The CoolBreathe PocketZone 1200 is a combination mattress with a difference. Made up of both memory foam and 1200 individually pocketed springs, this mattress creates five zone support for perfect spinal alignment.
With CoolBreathe technology there is no need for an Outlast cover - two layers are created specifically to regulate temperature. The first of which is aerated visco elastic foam which allows air to flow freely from body through the mattress. SpaceTec 3d is used as the top layer to dissipate heat and moisture by up to 50%.
This luxurious mattress comes with a SoftTouch cover made with cashmere, wool and silk unlike any other.

Unless otherwise specified, your mattress will be delivered to us for collection. For £15, you can have your mattress or pillows delivered to your home address (UK wide), and depending on UK schedules and area, this can take from just a few days to 2 weeks (for outlying areas). Delivery to our clinic Head Office on most mattresses is free, however for smaller orders such as the single original mattresses an additional delivery charge of £7.50 will be added.
Where a normal delivery man might just drop off a package at your door whenever it's convenient for them, our white glove delivery service features:
Quite simply, it is a polyeurethane foam featuring open visco elastic cells. The cells respond to body temperature, becoming softer in areas where your body has contact, therefore moulding to the body. Other mattress materials made of 100% springs, cannot fully respond to an individual's shape and sleep habits, whereas memory foam creates a full moulding effect. Consequently, the lack of pressure points encourages less turning and therefore a more peaceful sleep. Memory foam has been used in healthcare for many years due to its pressure relieving properties.
Memory foam is clinically proven to reduce aches and pains during sleep, and can alleviate back pain as it keeps the spine in perfect alignment. Due to the viscose properties, the material also returns to its original form very quickly - you will not find yourself rolling into the middle of a mattress with memory foam.
Which? Magazine tested mattresses to select ones which stand out because they have the best overall combination of body and lumbar support. Further, these mattresses didn't sag or lose much firmness in their harsh tests for durability, which involved passing a roller over each one 60,000 times to simulate 10 years of use.
Which? also tested the SleepShaper mattress for durability and found that the height and firmness barely altered. But other mattresses sagged, developed cuts or tore open.
We have chosen SleepShaper as our preferred memory foam mattress and pillow manufacturer for the following reasons:
The majority of products use 55 kilo memory foam. Why?
It takes time to get used to a memory foam mattress because the foam softens in response to your body heat so more of your body is in contact with the mattress. If you find it painful to lie down in bed, this type of bed should be more comfortable because the body's weight is spread more evenly on the mattress.
It is important to try a memory foam mattress before you buy it. Wear the most pyjama-like clothing you can in public, take off your shoes and lie on the bed for 15 to 20 minutes. Relax in one position, then move into another to see how easy it is for you to move.
Once you've bought your mattress, make sure that the slats in your bed's base are no more than 6cm wide and more than 4cm apart. This ensures sufficient ventilation, but prevents the mattress sagging through the slats.
When delivered, many memory foams can often produce a chemical smell. The special SleepShaper composition means that there is less smell which will fade quickly once the products have been opened for use.
Avoid making your bed in the morning; drawing the covers up over a warm bed provides exactly the right warm, damp, dark environment for dust mites to breed.
Though these products may be helpful in alleviating pain and improving your day-to-day comfort, there is no substitute for treatment, particularly if you are suffering from an acute, or persistent problem. If your symptoms do not improve then come to one of our Free Drop-In Clinics in Edinburgh or Glasgow as you may be suffering from medical issues which need further investigation.
We cannot accept any liability for further injury you incur by purchasing products that may not be suitable, nor can we accept any liability for exacerbation or acceleration of any pre-existing condition.
