Sports Massage includes both light and deeper tissue strokes, to assist in healing and preventing your muscular problems.
It is great as a pre-sport massage to loosen out your knots and prepare you for exercise. Sports massage after exercise aids in healing your tight muscles whilst flushing out waste products which build during activity.
The longer strokes help to relax your muscles, improve circulation and reduce the tension that tight muscles place on your joints.
This is a treatment which prepares your body for exercise- everyone is different and so are your needs. Depending on your assessment, you may need just 2 or 3 sessions and for more long standing and complex problems (particularly if you have had previous injury), you may need several treatments. Depending on the stresses you go through and once you are problem free, you should come for reviews (every month/6 months) to pick up problems early and make sure they stay away, just as you do with your dentist.
A 30 minute Massage session costs £30, and a full one hour session costs £45.
